Olirrô is me. For those who only know my work as an illustrator, I'm also a clown. I tour with my solo show in which I'm a clown painter. And the idea of bringing Olirrô to the stage came about to have a supporting character for products that could be sold after the shows and also for social media.
His first draft was in the strip above. Then it was refined.
And soon the products started to appear, like a book of challenges and buttons.
And the next project, still under construction, is a comic book about the character. And for that, I tested him in strips to see how the dynamics would work.
And in the story Olirrô goes to the world of Van Gogh's paintings. Below is a character design I made for the book.
